To Begin... 01:19
Captain (Redacted): So, Lieutenant. Before we get to everything else that happened, you ruined a top of the line Gundam-type mobile suit. That's just.... (disappointed sigh) Lieutenant (Redacted): First off, that mobile suit was no Gundam-type! Just the Gundam's head slapped onto a GM frame! Sent out painted like a damned Snowbird, like a show performance team! Brass should have known we'd be easy targets! Captain (Redacted): Are you finished? Sit down, Lieutenant, and start giving your report.
2.
Contact 03:57
Lieutenant (Redacted): The Corporal and I were on routine patrol, approximately 4.5 klicks from the Stave Falls dam. Per orders, we were lightly equipped. My MS only had its two beam sabers. The Corporal had his 90 mil and one saber, as if for pointless show. It was supposed to be just another patrol. We thought the Stave River was secure. We should have known t was an easytarget! Any hydro dam that close to the coast would is a high-value target. We should have known! Out of the woods, jumped a heavily armed Zaku. Camoflaged, concealed, a suprise attack. It brought its heat hawk down, but I raised my shield. I drew a beam saber, struck at it's rifle. One weapon down! As I defended another strike, the Zaku pulled back. Standing apart, standing across, under-equipped. Brace for contact! Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no help to come! Brace for combat! On my 8, I saw a Z'gokk engage the Corporal, but only for a flash. I could not lose focus, or it would be my end. I drove forward with one last desperate strike! I brought my beam saber down into the Zaku's neck. Burned through armor, down through the cockpit. Standing above, standing alive, under-equipped, I survived contact! Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no help to come, braced for combat!
3.
Lieutenant (Redacted): "DIE FEDDIE SCUM!!!" I heard it through the open channel. I turned and saw the Corporal slammed down to the ground. As the Z'gok's claws pierced the GM's cockpit. I almost lost myself! I rushed at the Z'gok, beam saber drawn. My vision tunneled, no mind for defense. I swung, I missed, the Z'gok took my left arm. I panicked, I jumped. Had to tell myself "I have survived. I will survive. Today is not... It's not my day to die!" It fired both mega-particle cannons. I could not evade, and took damage. Right knee stabilizer lost, I didn't have much time. As I struggled to keep my MS upright, I had to breath, repeat my mantra again. "I have survived. I will survive. Today is not... It's not my day to die!" Luck smiled upon me! The Z'gok rushed at me, wanting more blood on its claws. But this time I was ready! It plunged itself onto my beam saber, right through the cockpit. My words hold true! I have survived, I will survive. Today is not... It's not my day to die! Captain (Redacted): Okay Lieutenant. That'll be all. I'll contact the Corporal's next of kin. It'll be a while till your mobile suit is repaired, so you're on leave till then. Rest up and get your head back on straight. You are dismissed.
